Jon Pryer

Jon studied life drawing and sculpture before following a career in Industrial Design as both a practitioner and educator. Through his commercial career he has designed products you probably use or see every day; product as varied as custom vehicles, medical equipment, Museum exhibits and toys through to sporting goods.

Pryer has maintained a practice as a sculptor, working in a wide range of materials and processes. He has a keen interest in the interaction between object and observer and an ongoing fascination with anthropomorphism and the form of our relationship with various animals.

Jon especially likes dogs.
