Hello, I am Tate 

There is so much wonder hidden in the things all around us - especially in the things we overlook and see as boring or regular. 

I am based in Newcastle and work predominately with watercolour, creating artworks that aim to bring fresh perspective to everyday experiences. 

I love random connections, sentimentalizing regular things, and the way that everything means something.

Three things about me: 

1. I love fish so much 

2. I am trying to learn to play harmonica 

3. I told my year 2 art teacher that I wanted to be an astronaut when I grow up, but she misheard me and said, “Oh yes, I think you’d be a great artist.” So, I changed my mind.
