Alchemy of Light

As the light recedes and shadows lengthen, a sense of stillness envelopes time and space.

"I love to walk late in the day, when time and space seem to exist in a long pause. The light behind is leaving and the long shadows announce a change is imminent. I listen to the bush; the air is muffled and quiet. Being ready to catch a glimpse of something special, sometimes memorable.

I birdwatch at Stockton Sandspit and no matter how many times over I walk this track, I always feel that I’m walking towards wonder. Lucky me."
