By challenging gender ideology and encouraging viewers to become agents of change, this exhibit is a powerful reminder that true equality is within reach.

Gender inequality is everywhere, and it's almost impossible not to feel angry in the face of such injustice. From the female television presenter receiving vile comments for her looks to reports of women being murdered for not covering their hair, it's clear that the world has a long way to go towards achieving equality. The UN Office of Women predicts this will not be reached for at least another 10 generations, a truly alarming statistic that calls for immediate and urgent action.

The exhibition 'Subjugation, Inequality, Revolution (According to the Book of Kara)' provides an immersive experience of women's subjugation, beginning in ancient Mesopotamia and continuing until the present day. By challenging gender ideology and encouraging viewers to become agents of change, this exhibit is a powerful reminder that true equality is within reach — and we must act now if we want to see it sooner than the predicted year of 2310.

Women worldwide are shouting: "Read the room - the time for change is now; we will not take it anymore!"
