I am truly honoured to be selected as the 2025 HIC_ARA recipient. Being selected for this residency is so validating for both my artistic journey and my career, especially in my first year after completing my Bachelor of Creative Practice at Newcastle Art School.
This residency offers an invaluable opportunity to push the boundaries of my creative practice in ways that would not be possible without this dedicated space. To become a part of this beautiful and rich community of TCI is so fulfilling and deeply inspiring.
I look forward to exploring new projects, such as my digital installation MAPmima, and the development of my exhibition for the Little Space. The residency will allow me to continue growing as an artist, experimenting with new and sustainable materials, and presenting my work to wider audiences. Beyond expanding my artistic practice, I’m excited about the lasting impact this experience will have on my career.
