The opportunity for an early career artist to immerse themselves into the TCI community in their own studio (rent free) for 12-months and concluding solo exhibition.

In collaboration with the Bynon family and HIC Services, TCI is proud to present the HIC_ARA  (HIC Services Artist Residency Award)  that offers the opportunity for an early career artist to immerse themselves into the TCI community in their own studio (rent free) for twelve months, culminating in a solo exhibition in The Incubator Gallery at the conclusion of the residency.

Given the ability to work alongside other emerging, established, and renowned artists of diverse practice - a studio at TCI opens up a realm of opportunities and new possibilities.

Emerging and early career artists are invited to apply for a 12-month studio residency at The Creator Incubator. Indigenous artists are encouraged to apply.

David Lobb) is a multi-disciplinary artist working somewhere between childish dreams and memories on the deathbed. lovedavid is a complete devotion to feeling and leaning into feeling. Intimate exchanges between friends, over-sharing between strangers and dialogues within oneself form the basis of his practice.
